MOL Compressol 68 is a high performance lubricant developed for the lubrication of cylinders and drive mechanisms of piston compressors. It is a mixture of highly refined mineral oils that have a low tendency to form deposits and highly efficient additives that inhibit oxidation and corrosion. It is excellent for lubricating high capacity compressors delivering and compressing air or other neutral gases, such as nitrogen, hydrogen and hydrocarbon derivatives. It enables extended oil change intervals. Depending on the load, 5000-8000 hour service intervals can be achieved without degradation or deposit formation of the oil. It cannot be used for the lubrication of oxygen and chlorine compressors, nor for compressors delivering aggressive gases.
